Game Collector is a program that helps you catalog your personal library. Adding games to the database is quick and easy, just type the title and platform or scan its barcode with your barcode scanner. Game Collector will automatically download all data (title, platform, developer, publisher, genre, etc... including the cover image). The information is retrieved from the Amazon game catalog.

Once you have added a number of games to the inventory, you can view it on the main screen. It is possible to show a simple list of all video games, but you can also organize your library by platform, publisher or genre, etc.. using the automatic folder feature. All lists can be sorted instantly, just by clicking the column headers or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on any field, e.g. alphabetically on title or platform, or sorted on release date or purchase date. Use the Quick Search feature to find all games that contain the word you type, or use the Advanced Filter command to search in specific fields, even multiple fields at once.

Recent changes in Game Collector:

"System" and "User" Templates can now be placed in two separate locations. System Templates are back to their old location in: \Program Files\Collectorz.com\Game Collector\Templates\
User Templates can now be (optionally) placed in a user configurable location (Tools / Options), which defaults to \My Documents\Game Collector\Templates\
Added: Import from Text feature moved from Add Automatically screen to File / Import From / Text,
so that items are imported directly into the database, instead of to the Search Queue.
